George W. Bush.
Born on July 6, 1946, George W. shares this day w/ Sylvester Stallone. Although they are born at different times of day, there is a certain similarity between them. Both share strong family ties and issues w/ their families. Both have a need to be in the limelight, and both know what they want and how to go about getting it. Both are lucky, both big talkers, arrogant and creative. Stallone was born at night and has a very passive side to his chart which could account for his alter ego, Rocky, being a boxer. Bush on the other hand was born in the morning and has a very self-activating chart, which could account for his other side seeming passive and unclear. In a way they are both fighters!
The sign, Cancer, is watery and home-oriented, but water is emotion and Cancer births usually experience a difficult childhood. They are extremely emotional and sensitive and can sense problems that may not be overtly expressed. They quickly learn not to trust: either themselves or others depending on the support they get for their sensitive natures. Often there are issues w/ the father for acceptance or understanding --and in G.W.'s case with his Sun sign and Saturn both in the 12th house, he is also living out his father's unfinished business, trying to solve his problems and facing self-esteem issues. Look! One of his father's cabinet members was chosen as running mate.
G.W. and Sylvester both have a Libra Moon --which being in conflict with their Sun sign indicates some problem at home between the parents. In G.W.'s case we may be looking at a role-playing mother who never had a chance to show off her own abilities. A Libra moon is always the mediator, the go-between, the P.R. Libra's motto is "Peace at any price." And the price is usually too high. Since the Moon Sign generally indicates the nature of the mother, this could describe G.W.'s mother, don't you think? Luckily the Moon is conjunct Jupiter and that's what it means: LUCK! Remember, G.W. did not win the popular vote, he did not even win the electoral college: he won by 1 vote on the Supreme Court. Is that luck or what????
Now let's stir the pot by adding in the fire element of Leo. Here Sylvester and G.W. part ways for G.W. has his Ascendant in Leo together with Pluto, Venus and Mercury. Fire and water don't mix. Where Cancer can be sensitive and emotional, Leo is insensitive and arrogant. Leo is the aristocrat of the zodiac and supporter of the rich and famous, hardly a common man or humanitarian. So we have a man who can scarcely speak without garbling and confusing words…sounds like trauma from childhood to me. Yet on the positive side, this combo can be insightful, researching and powerful.
And finally it is worth mentioning the Mars in Virgo, an energy that evidences practicality and efficiency…professional actions. It is one of G.W.'s greatest resources which helps him satisfy his goals. This Mars is being flooded with energy from both Jupiter and Saturn in the year ahead indicating that he has started somethings prematurely and will be thwarted in his attempts to accomplish his plans. His presidency is not going to be an easy one as Saturn and Pluto oppose each other next year and Saturn moves through his 11th and 12th houses in the next 4 years. Hey!
