In this section, as we discover them or create them, we will be sharing with you some gourmet solar ideas that hopefully will give YOU some ideas to enhance and further enjoy solar eating while still eating your way to butterflyhood.


Here's a typical day's menu:
Breakfast: Almonds, prunes and peaches. Solar coffee which is arabica bean coffee, like Folgers, with cocoa and maple syrup added to promote healthy hormone balancing throughout the day.
Morning snack: Any citrus fruit eaten alone.
Lunch: Tofu (or chicken), brown rice, steamed cauliflower and broccoli, green salad.
Afternoon snack: Any melon to eat alone; or berries.
Dinner: Fish, brown rice, watercress salad.

Garlic Flan with Crab Sauce

Flan ingredients
I cup real cream (read labels)
1 whole garlic, peeled and chopped
Salt and cayenne pepper to taste
A dash of nutmet
2 eggs
Add peeled and chopped garlic to cream in a small uncovered saucepan and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes.Then beat 2 eggs in blender; add cream and garlic slowly until mixture is creamy. Place in 4 small ramekins sprayed with Pam or melted butter. Bake at 350 degrres for 20-30 minutes. Let cool and invert onto individual plates.
Crab Sauce Ingredients
1 can crab meat
1/4 chopped onion
1/2 chopped fresh ginger
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup dry vermouth
2 tsp. braggs salt replacer or salt.
Saute onion and ginger. When onion is translucent add vermouth and crab meat. Simmer until liquid is cooked down. Spoon over garlic flan. Best when served with mushroom soup.

Mushroom Soup


(The proportions and amounts of ingredients of this soup depend entirely on how much you want to make.)
Carrots
Onion
Portabello Mushrooms
Firm Tofu
1 Vegetable Boullion Cube
Braggs salt replacement or salt
Cayenne to taste
Tamari to taste
A dash of Apple cider Vinegar
Miso, to taste, at end but do not boil.
Boil carrots in pan while sauteing the onion and mushrooms and tofu. Add these ingredients to the boiling carrots with the boullion cube. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and continue to simmer for additional 10 minutes. Turn off heat and add the miso. Serve with sprig of watercress. (Optional)
